The session began with a welcome speech by Prof. Sunil Bajeja and a brief introduction of the expert, by Ms. Jayshree Nagral
In the first session of 20th, an expert covered Web 1.0 and Web 2.0, different algorithms based on content of static and dynamic websites like face book using the social graph algorithm, HTML and XHTML differences and Cross Browser Platform.
Second session started with practices of IDE Eclipse including Power of Eclipse over hard code, Layout of Eclipse Editor, How to create a new project in eclipse, How to debug and Run Java Application with Eclipse, different ways to check compile time and runtime errors, Plug-in Architecture of JEE Project with Eclipse, as well as Hot code replacement and program to get the all system properties.
In the first session on the 21st, Enterprise Application like what is web programming, web server and web application server, Servlet Programming, page ranking, graphics application which is now easy in java with IDE and Enterprise Architecture of JEE was conducted very efficiently. He provided the additional information about singleton object in java with jdk 7.0 mark and sweep algorithm for garbage collection.
While the second session began with different design patterns used with Java Applications. He gave an overview of MVC design pattern and Singleton design patterns and how the business logic works with servlet programming.
At the end of the session, Mr. Jigar Chitaliya, a student of 5th semester, Faculty of Computer Applications thanked the expert and emphasized on the need to conduct such sessions frequently. The session was concluded to be very useful and knowledge giving by all the students and few faculties who attended the seminar.
