Prof. Devi conversed to split session into three parts. First Before Teaching, Second Teaching and Third After Teaching. In Before Teaching she thrashed out about course outlines, experts, connectivity among courses, know level of students, pre-course questionnaires. Then after, in Teaching she included lecturing, case study, industry problem, use of effective ICT. In last element of session, After Teaching, provoking questions, open book exam, simulating an environment and real world industry. She has also brought up that students are getting only 20% knowledge in class rest of 80% they are learning in peer group. Faculty members from MCA, MBA and Engineering had small case study learning exercise given by Prof. Devi which was standard aspect of learning. She has not only focused on Technological aspects of teaching but also mentioned how to teach managerial aspects effectively.
After having enormous session of teaching methodologies,Prof. Devi has gone through Research oriented aspects of learning. She had cover how to write research paper and how to start research which includes literature review, problem definition, methodologies and algorithms, design of prototype, development of prototype, testing, result and conclusion with future work. She has stated important point that is try to search problem, issues, and bottleneck of your topic area of interest which assists you to think about possible research of your area.
At the end of session, volunteers from audience have shared memorable movements given by Prof. Devi and session has been concluded by vote of thanks of respected dean, Dr. R. Sridaran, of FCA.
