Faculty of Computer Applications organized two days of IT symposium SYNERGY - 2015 during 30th and 31st January 2015 where about 1500+ students from more than 50 various colleges across Gujarat has participated.

Inauguration

The symposium was inaugurated by Mr.Nishit Chandarana, Cofounder, CIBPL, Mr. Amish Chandarana, Partnet, CIBPL, Mr. Gurudatt Medtia, Senior Director, ETECH India, Ahmedabad was the chief guest. While addressing the masses, he appereciated the enthusiasm the participants have shown in taking part in synergy - 2015. He also appreciated the college environment and facilities.

Dr. R.Sridaran, Dean of Faculty of Computer Applications showcased the infrastructure and the other facilities, narrated the vision of the top management and also the glimpses of the event. During his speech he greeted the participants who have come over from different parts of Gujarat and motivated the participants.

Dr. Y.P.Kosta - The Campus Director, Prof. S.K.Bhagvan - Director of Marwadi Learning & Development initiative also spoke during the occasion. Prof. Sunil Bajeja - Head, Faculty of Computer Application offered the welcome address and Prof. Nilesh Advani - Event Manager of Synergy - 2015 provided the road map of the event.

Valedictory - Prize distribution

All the winners of synergy - 2015 were awarded with prizes. The chief guests of the valedictory function were Mr.Sandeep Bhai Marwadi, Trustee, MEFGI and Mr. Vikram Bhai Sanghani, Joint Managing Director of ACE software Exports Ltd., Rajkot. During his speech he narrated how the computer science has grown over a period of a time, its future prospectus and top 5 emerging fields of computer applications. Mr. Sandeep Bhai Marwadi has congratulated all the winners for their outstanding performance.

Smt. C.Z.M. Gosarani College from Jamanagr declared as Overall winners and M.J.Kundalia College, Rajkot, declared as overall runner-up based upon the ranking system designed for the winners of the entire event.
