Graduation Day Function - 2015
Faculty of Computer Applications, Marwadi Education Foundation's Group of Institutions, has organized Graduation Day function on 2-5-2015 to felicitate the students of final semester with certificates. During the occasion, Marwadi's unique Credit Certificates were provided to the meritorious students.
The function was inaugurated by lightening of lamp by the Chief Guest Shri Arvind Benegal, Vice President, Persistent Systems, Pune, Presiding Officer Dr. Y. P. Kosta, Director (Technical Campus), Prof. S. K. Bhagvan, Director (Learning & Development), Dr. R. Sridaran, (Dean - FCA), Prof. Sunil Bajeja, (Head - FCA), and Mr. George Varghese, Registrar.
At the starting point of function Prof. Sunil Bajeja, Head, FCA, MEFGI has welcomed the guests. Dr. R. Sridaran, Dean, FCA presented "Footprints 2014-15" in which he covered various achievements of the institution during the AY 2014-15. Prof. S. K. Bhagvan, during his speech, stressed the importance of Graduation Day in a student's life. He has conveyed students that they need to handle more responsibilities in their professional life. He also added that all the students must need to know three languages in life i.e. mother tongue, National Language and English. Further he also added that the real challenge lies in gaining the self reputation.
Shri Arvind Benegal, has talked about importance of industry life and how to maintain integration between family life and professional life. He further explained the qualities of Good Leader and told students to maintain Integrity, Inspiration and insight throughout the life. He also added that to be a successful person everyone has to compete with themselves. He has also motivated the students to become entrepreneur after completion of study. He has also advised students to be alumni member of the institute in order to stay connected with the institution and their friends.
Different Credit System awards were distributed to the meritorious & successful students.
The presiding officer of the function Dr. Y. P. Kosta has given his valuable thoughts about the function. In his speech he talked about three important spaces of the life i.e. personal, Social, family and friends and professional space. He advised students to maintain integrity in all spaces. He also told students that the purpose of education is to understand the people. He also added further that the main three qualities that each one must have are trust, promise and relationships.
At Last Prof. Maulik Parekh, Coordinator of the whole event has thanked all the guests for providing their valuable time.
