SQL Injection Live Demo - Technocrats Club
Technocrats Club, Faculty of Computer Applications, Marwadi Education Foundation’s Group of Institutions, arranged a Technical Session on SQL Injection with Live Demo for MCA students on dated 13-07-2015, Monday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Total more than 45 students participated in this session.
Session was started by Dr.R.Sridaran, Dean , F.C.A with welcome speech & explained the importance and present scenario of SQL Injection Technology in IT field. After that, Prof. Ashwin Dobariya, Coordinator – Technocrats Club introduced a speaker of the session, Mr. Dhaivat Dave , student of MCA – 5 (A) & gave details about different activities to be carried out in Technocrats Club.
After that, Mr. Dhaivat Dave , student of MCA – 5 (A) started his session on SQL Injection, in his presentation, he explained the basic concept of SQL Injection and different types of it like, Error based SQL Injection & Advanced SQL Injection. He gave live demonstration on an automated tool “Havij” for checking the vulnerability in the website and he also displayed a video of SQL MAP which is Linux base automated tool for SQL Injection.
At the end of session, Prof.Ashwin Dobariya expressed a vote of Thanks to Mr.Dhaivat Dave & thanks to Prof.Nilesh Advani, Team Leader – Club Activity for his presence during entire session and hearty thanks to all students for their actively participation in the session. He also congratulated to Mr.Dhaivat Dave for delivering such a wonder full session with practical demo for the students & share his practical experience and facilitated him with appreciation letter. Finally, all participants really enjoyed the session.
