The visit was permitted by MEFGI management and GFSU officials. The bus departed at 5:30 AM in the morning and reached at GFSU at 10:30 AM. The first session was started at 11:00 AM. The first session was conducted by Prof. Digvijaysinh Rathod. He took an introduction to SQL injection and explain various kinds of SQL injection attacks like - manual, automated and blind attacks. He explained practical aspects with the help of DVWA tools. The session was completed at 1:10 PM.
After first session, students were served lunch at University canteen. After lunch, second session started at 3:00 PM by Prof. Digvijaysinh Rathod. He gave exposure to command based attacks on servers.
The third session started by Dr. Parag Rughani at 3:45 PM. He covered the practical aspects of digital forensics. He explained the tool - Volatility for RAM analysis. Then he explained the concept of password recovery and gave introduction the tool - EnCase for digital forensics. Students also visited the State-of-the-Art lab of GFSU, where live analysis of different attacks is performed.
The session completed at 5:00 PM. The photo session was there at the end of day at GFSU, Gandhinagar. The students reached at Rajkot at 10:30 PM.
The feedback from students was positive for this industrial visit. They were satisfied with the knowledge exposure.
