MCA Music Mania – Antakshari 2016
An Antakshari competition named “MCA Music Mania”, for the students of MCA was organized by Whimsy Club on 3rd February, 2016. 20 groups consisting of 3 partners in each participated in the competition very actively.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Disha Parekh, with the student volunteers. The event started at 12:30 p.m. sharp and got ended at 3:00 p.m. The participating 20 teams were first made to analyze songs by guessing the emojis, out of which 10 teams were selected. For the next round again out of the 10 teams, 5 teams were selected on the basis of the song they would sing for the mentioned word.
Finally, 5 teams were made to play various rounds of antakshari, which made us to announce a team of Sahil Kotecha, Vaibhavi Dhangadhariya & Mit Kalariya as the 1st Runner-up and Niidhi Rupareliya, Twinkal Chandarana & Pooja Gangwani as the Winners of the competition. The winners will be awarded a shield during the collaborative event of all the technical and non-technical event winners.
The whole event was anchored by 2 students, namely, Parth Parmar and Meet Trambadiya. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. R. Sridaran, Dean, MCA and all the faculty members.
