Details of Project: SMART Foundry 2020 (SMART = Sustainable Metalcasting using Advanced Research & Technolog y) sanctioned vide letter DST/TGS/AMT/2015/332 dated August 17, 2016. The overall goal is to develop a Smart Foundry that can be used to rapidly create small intricate metal parts required in tiny order quantities. The candidate is expected to develop and integrate hardware and software systems of the metal foundries.

Essential Qualification:
1. M.E or M.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing or other relevant discipline of the Engineering
AND
2. Minimum 55% or equivalent score in masters’ degree
Age limit: 28 years
Fellowship: As per DST norms: Rs. 25000 per month + HRA
Duration: The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis. Initial appointment is for the one year that may be extended based on the performance.
