IoT has evolved from the convergence of wireless technologies, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and the Internet.
• IoT has a lot of applications which in some cases can be lifesaving. IoT is still in its developmental stages and is mainly concentrated in the manufacturing industry where communication is machine-to- machine. Some of lifesaving situations where IoT can really help are Emergency Treatment, Accident zones, Assisted living, Smart living, and many more.
