IEEE offers a multitude of student competitions annually, sponsored by a variety of IEEE units, including the MGA Student Activities Committee and various Societies. Take a look at some of the offerings for IEEE Student and Graduate Student members. New contests are added frequently, so check here often.
IEEE Societies offer students the opportunity to submit papers to recognize technical, written, and verbal communication skills. These paper contests offer students the opportunity to showcase their technical knowledge through recognition and awards. Frequently, students are invited to attend and present their paper at a conference sponsored by the Society, exposing students to the technical community beyond the university. The ability to network with experienced professionals in the industry is invaluable when students begin their job search following graduation. Review the paper contest offerings by IEEE Societies and Regions and submit a paper today.
There are a variety of other student competitions offered by industry partners for students that focus on technical and engineering topics. IEEE is not responsible for any aspect of these competitions and only lists these as a courtesy for IEEE Student members.
