We started two years M.E. courses in 2011-12 affiliated to GTU. • Our faculty members taking post graduate classes are all endorsed by GTU. We have the highest number of Ph.D. faculty members in Saurashtra region. Highly qualified faculty members teaching the ME students to ensure the foundation (concept) building to the advanced level knowledge gained by the students. At ME level, it is quite possible to have ‘one to one’ or ‘many to one’ communication among the teacher/s and the student. This ensures the projects being carried out at MEFGI for the dissertation have a benchmark quality.
• Sophisticated laboratories with advanced equipment installed provide a unique platform. Students not only from MEFGI but also from various NITs and some of the institutions nearby providing post-graduation courses also to carry out experimentation. Some of these laboratories are equipped with ultra-modern facilities to carry out consultancy projects from Government as well as private industries. We have than 20 laboratories with different departments exclusively dedicated for M.E. courses.
