A robot is a machine designed to execute one or more tasks automatically with speed and precision. In recent years robots left controlled laboratory settings and started to address real world scenarios and situations. Today robots are key technologies in the areas of military services, production industries, space exploration, underwater exploration, commercialized agriculture and medical science. Robots can be classified in different ways like programmable & non- programmable robots, industrial robots & household robots, entertainment robots & service robots, wheeled robots & legged robots, stationary robots and mobile robots and autonomous and controlled robot.
