Marwadi Education Foundation Group of Institution (MEFGI) organized one-day workshop on “Big Data and Business Intelligence” on 21/09/2016. The workshop consists of expert lectures from industry along with practical exposure towards various sub fields and technology. Objective of this workshop is to provides awareness about big data and business intelligence.

Mr. Nitesh Lohar is working with TechExtensor as Co-founder and CEO, Certified with Oracle Database SQL, Mongo DB, and Pentaho. He also got opportunity to work at Chinese Bank (Ping AN), on Pentaho, Hadoop as Analyst, Developer at China 2016.

He had a 5+ years of IT experience focusing on Big data, Business Intelligence, Data warehousing, Data modeling, Data integration, Data Migration, ETL process. He has Technical Skills on Pentaho BA Suite, Oracle, Mongo DB, R Language, OLAP/MOLAP/Mondrian, Scripting (Java/Python/J2EE).

Expert Talk is very beneficial for students UG in this workshop starting from basics of Big data and Business intelligence. In today’s e-world where usage of data is increasing day-by-day, the need of handling of these data is not cope up efficiently with existing database technologies. This research lead to the new emerging area of big data where the large and complex data is not only captured but visualized, transfer and also be the secure too. And Business Intelligence refers to a set of methods and techniques that are used by organizations for tactical and strategic decision making. It leverages technologies that focus on counts, statistics and business objectives to improve business performance.

This workshop is to help the participants about current trend s and working of technologies within various companies in the Big data and Business Intelligence. It includes the challenges to consider the capture, analysis, effective search techniques, sharing, storage, efficient transfer, querying, visualizing, etc. This includes the structured as well as unstructured data for the analysis.
