The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is his alma mater. From there he went on to teach as an Assistant Professor and then had his career burgeoning in the industry to Senior Manager at Pfizer after certain years of industrial experience. Currently he is the Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zoetis (Formerly Pfizer Animal Health).

As chemical engineer, he keenly emphasized over the skills and profound knowledge requiring aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. He discussed the prerequisites for a chemical engineer from the industry perspective. He efficiently briefed us about the competitiveness in the field and the investment and research that goes under manufacturing a drug.
