Outcome of the visit:
From this visit, students learnt about various furnaces like Pit type gas carburizing furnace, shaker hearth furnace, tempering furnace controlled by PLCs and online data logger systems. In addition to that students learnt how metallurgical inspection of heat treated parts are being performed in industries.
