Overview:-
Dr. D V Acharya is having 27 years of industrial experience. He is serving as CEO of Inox Ltd., 1.2 billion dollar company. Inox Ltd. is established its roots and run manufacturing plants at reputed countries including India, USA, Canada, and Brazil and exporting their products to more than 100 countries around the globe. It is an achievement and honor for The Department of Mechanical Engineering, MEFGI to invite him for an expert session. Along with him Mr. Gautam Gohil (23 years of industrial experience), AGM, Inox Ltd. visited our campus and exposed the benefits of the student chapter of the Indian Institute of Welding (IIW), both for students and faculties. In this regard, I would like to thank Dr. D V Acharya and Mr. Gautam Gohil for such a great knowledge sharing session.
Outcome of the talk:
We have discussed the possibilities of placements, and collaboration in the benefits of both institute and the company. We have also talk on industrial visit, internship, workshops for our students and faculties. Additionally, we invited them for our BOS committee, orally. We also shown our interest to set up the IIW student chapter. Moreover, the words of Dr. D V Acharya that they are with us to extend the relationship in the possible sectors will leads us towards motivating and encouraging era.
