Department of Electrical Engineering have organized one day Educational visit at " Thermal Power Station Sikka- Jamnagar" for second year students of Electrical Engineering class 4EE1 and 4EE2.
Prof. Gunjan Tetar and Prof.Goldy Padia accompanied with the student as a faculty coordinator during the visit.
Sikka Thermal Power Station is located near Jamnagar, which is the major industrial town in GSECL, Gujarat. There are two units of 120 MW capacity each two 250 MW plant on construction.
Visit is related on generation, distribution and application of coal based Electrical Power generation. In this visit student learn about infrastructure and departments of Industry as well as Energy Distribution also they learn Steps need to follow by site engineers in emergency condition.
