Department of Electrical Engineering have organized one day Educational visit at " Thermal Power Station Sikka- Jamnagar" for second year students of Electrical Engineering class 4EE2 and 4EE1 on date 6th and 13th February, 2019 respectively.
Prof. Ronak Doshi, Prof. Nirav Tolia, Prof. Darshana Valani and Prof. Purva Joshi accompanied with the student as a faculty coordinator during the visit.
Sikka Thermal Power Station is located near Jamnagar, which is the major industrial town in GSECL, Gujarat. There are two units of 120 MW capacity each two 250 MW plant on construction.
Visit is related on generation, distribution and application of coal based Electrical Power generation. In this visit student learn about infrastructure and departments of Industry as well as Energy Distribution also they learn Steps need to follow by site engineers in emergency condition.
